Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-18
This Privacy Policy explains what personal and technical data MovilUp collects through movilup.pro and the MovilUp / MovilDrive mobile apps, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have as a data subject. It reflects the requirements of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended by Amendment No. 13 (in force August 2025), the Consumer Protection Law, and related Israeli legislation.
Who we are (data controller / database owner)
The controller of your personal data is:
- Licensed dealer (עוסק מורשה) Fedor Zimmerman
- Registered address (כתובת רשומה): 36 Brodetsky St., Tel Aviv–Yafo, State of Israel
- Office / public contact address: Petah Tikva, Golomb Eliyahu 16
- Dealer ID (מספר עוסק מורשה): 345362966
- Trade name: MovilUp
- +972 50-891-7217
- privacy@movilup.pro
What data we collect
We process the data you provide when submitting a request on the website or in the MovilUp / MovilDrive apps, plus related technical data. The main categories are listed below (see also the sections on apps and analytics):
- your name (to address you and identify the request);
- your phone number (so an operator can call you back to confirm details; in the MovilUp app — your contact number for the driver during an order);
- pickup and destination addresses (for price estimation and route planning);
- service type (cargo taxi, apartment move, office move, furniture delivery);
- preferred date and time for the move (optional);
- optional free-text comment;
- technical data such as IP address, user-agent, session identifiers and cookies necessary for the site to work.
Mobile applications (MovilUp and MovilDrive)
When you use our mobile apps we process additional categories of data:
- account data — when you sign in by SMS, your phone number is verified with a one-time code and used for contact; when you sign in with Google or Apple, you provide a contact phone during profile setup in the app; optionally — name, email and profile photo; your number is shared with the driver or crew only for an active order;
- location data — your device's precise (GPS) location. For customers it is used only while the app is open, to show the map and select pickup and drop-off points. For drivers it is also collected in the background during an active order so the customer can see the driver approaching on the map. Location is never collected outside of an active order;
- in-app chat — the messages and photos that customers and drivers exchange in relation to a specific order;
- payment information necessary to complete and account for the order;
- for drivers and crew members — identity and licensing documents we need to verify their eligibility to provide the service;
- device identifiers and push-notification tokens, used to deliver order status updates.
- app usage data — screens viewed, technical events, device model, OS version, language, approximate region and App Instance ID via Firebase Analytics (Google) when «Usage analytics» is on; Meta Conversions API operational events (install, activate, registration, lead) with technical parameters, IP and — when available — hashed phone/email when «Ad measurement (Meta)» is on; we do not sell this data.
You can revoke camera, photo or location permissions at any time in device settings. Some features (such as live driver tracking) will then be unavailable. Separate toggles: MovilUp — Profile → Privacy («Usage analytics» and «Ad measurement (Meta)»); MovilDrive — Settings → Privacy (Firebase only).
Location data
We process device location to run the transport service. In the client app, location is used only while the app is open, to show the map and set the pickup and drop-off points. In the driver app (MovilDrive), during an active order the driver's precise GPS location is collected and sent to our server so the assigned client can see the driver on the map and follow the route; this may continue while the app is in the background, via a foreground service that shows a persistent notification while tracking is active. Location is not collected outside of an active order. We use location data only to provide and improve the service - we do not sell it; it is shared only with the other party of the same order and with our technical processors (hosting, telephony), and is retained as described in the Retention section. You can stop location collection at any time by completing or cancelling the order, or by revoking the location permission in your device settings.
Purposes of processing
- receiving, processing and fulfilling your moving or transport request;
- contacting you to confirm, clarify and coordinate the job;
- quality control and post-service follow-up;
- usage statistics for the website and apps (screens, events and device technical parameters) to improve the service — via Google (Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics 4); on the website — Meta Pixel and Conversions API for ad measurement and retargeting after cookie-banner consent; in the MovilUp app — Meta Conversions API when the «Ad measurement (Meta)» toggle is on (separate from product analytics; no IDFA/GAID). Data is not sold;
- complying with Israeli legal obligations (tax and accounting records, responses to lawful authority requests).
- keeping the service safe — reviewing reports of objectionable content or abusive behaviour and enforcing user blocks;
Legal basis
Processing needed for orders and accounts is based on your freely given consent and the need to perform a service contract, and in some cases on legal obligations. Processing complies with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (5741-1981), including Amendment 13. Analytics and marketing cookies on the website — only with separate cookie-banner consent (withdrawable at any time). Firebase product analytics and Meta Conversions API ad measurement in MovilUp — separate settings (off by default; you turn them on in the app). Refusing cookie analytics, Firebase or Meta does not block core service features (ordering, account, chat); it may only limit our product improvement and ad-campaign measurement accuracy.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We only share the minimum necessary with:
- drivers and moving crews who will perform the job - they receive only the information needed to do the work (name, phone, addresses, comment);
- technical service providers (hosting, CRM, SMS gateway, telephony, Google Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics 4 for usage statistics, and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — for Meta Pixel / Conversions API for ad measurement when you have given the relevant consent) — they act strictly on our instructions or in their controller roles under their own policies, under contracts and confidentiality obligations;
- Israeli public authorities - only when legally required.
International data transfers
Some of our technical service providers (cloud hosting — in particular Google Cloud, Google Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics 4 analytics services, Meta Platforms for Pixel / Conversions API, as well as CRM, SMS and telephony gateways) may process or store data on servers outside Israel, including in the EU and the United States. In such cases we transfer only the minimum data necessary and take reasonable measures to ensure a level of protection comparable to the requirements of Israeli law, including reliance on Google's and Meta's contractual terms and privacy policies.
Retention
We keep request and account data for as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet our legal obligations (primarily tax and accounting — up to 7 years). Aggregated analytics data (Google Analytics / Firebase) is retained by Google according to its service settings — typically no longer than 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted or anonymised. Meta events are processed under Meta's policies and our ad account / Events Manager settings. After the applicable retention periods, data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the Israeli privacy law, as amended in 2025, you have the right to:
- request information about the data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your data, where not contrary to law;
- object to processing for marketing purposes, and request that analytics collection in the apps be stopped (see the Analytics section);
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect past processing);
- lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@movilup.pro.
We acknowledge receipt and respond on the merits usually within 30 days (complex requests may be reasonably extended with notice). If we refuse correction or deletion, we will explain the reasons.
User data deletion
You can delete your MovilUp account and the personal data associated with it at any time, in one of two ways:
In the app
Open the MovilUp or MovilDrive app → the "Profile" section → "Delete account" and confirm. Sign-in is disabled immediately, and your personal data is permanently removed after 90 days.
By request
If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request to privacy@movilup.pro, stating the phone number or email linked to the account. We will process the request and confirm the deletion.
Some data we are legally required to keep even after the account is deleted — primarily records of completed orders and payments, to meet tax and accounting obligations (up to 7 years). After those periods such data is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for the site to work and — only after your consent in the banner — analytics (Google Analytics) and marketing (Meta Pixel / Conversions API) cookies. Full list and withdrawal options: see our Cookie Policy.
Analytics and ad measurement (Google / Meta)
To understand how users interact with our website and apps, we use Google Analytics 4 and Firebase Analytics (Google Ireland Limited; where applicable, Google LLC, USA). To measure Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns we use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). We do not sell personal data.
What data analytics collects
Depending on the platform, Google may receive: App Instance ID or cookies (_ga, _ga_*), information about screens and pages viewed, technical events (e.g. sign-in), device type and model, OS version, interface language, approximate region (from IP), and date and time of use. Via Meta Conversions API (website and/or MovilUp app with consent) Meta may receive: event name, time, event_id, IP and user-agent (or anon_id / device technical parameters for the app), _fbp/_fbc cookies on the website, and — when signed in — hashed phone and email. We do not send chat content, exact order addresses, payment details or driver documents through analytics. Collection of a device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android) is not enabled at this time.
Analytics on movilup.pro
On the website, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (plus matching Conversions API events from our server) are enabled only after your explicit consent in the cookie banner: before consent the scripts are not loaded and no analytics/ads data is collected. You can withdraw consent at any time on the Cookie Policy page.
Analytics in the MovilUp and MovilDrive apps
Firebase (GA4) product analytics in the apps is off by default and controlled by the separate «Usage analytics» toggle. Meta Conversions API in MovilUp is off by default and controlled by the separate «Ad measurement (Meta)» toggle (independent of Firebase): when enabled, our server sends install/activate/registration/lead events without ATT/IDFA and without Facebook Login AutoLog. MovilDrive does not use Meta CAPI. Both channels are disabled in debug builds.
Legal basis
Website analytics — separate cookie-banner consent (Amendment 13). Firebase in the apps and Meta Conversions API in MovilUp — separate settings (off by default; opt-in); you can turn either on or off at any time. Consent is voluntary; refusing does not block core service features.
How to opt out of analytics
On the website: withdraw consent on the Cookie Policy page or reject analytics/marketing cookies in the banner. In MovilUp: turn off «Usage analytics» and/or «Ad measurement (Meta)» separately under Profile → Privacy. In MovilDrive: Settings → Privacy. Or email privacy@movilup.pro. Withdrawal does not affect lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
MovilUp does not sell personal data. The apps contain no ad units. Firebase is for product stats (can be turned off). Meta Pixel/CAPI on the website — after the cookie banner. Meta CAPI in MovilUp — measures ad campaigns outside the app (separate toggle, without IDFA/GAID).
Google retains analytics data in aggregated form — usually no longer than 14 months. Meta events are processed under Meta's policies and our ad account / Events Manager settings.
Analytics data may be processed on Google and Meta servers outside Israel (including in the EU and USA). See the International data transfers section, https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Security
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures under Israel's Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017: HTTPS, access control, data minimisation, contracts with processors. No measure is 100% secure. A separate DPO appointment under Amendment 13 is not currently required for our scale; data-subject requests go to privacy@movilup.pro.
Children
MovilUp services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you become aware that a child has sent us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. We will flag material changes on the website.
