Cargo taxi across Israel
A truck with a driver by the hour — like a taxi, but for your things. Dispatch from 4 hours, five body classes, price known before you confirm.
What a cargo taxi is
A cargo taxi is a truck with a driver booked by the hour: you pay for working time rather than for a full turnkey move. It fits when your things are already packed and all you need is the vehicle — picking up a purchase from a store, moving a sofa or a fridge, hauling building materials, clearing out a flat. At MovilUp the rate is 350₪ per hour with a 2-hour minimum, across all of Israel, seven days a week including Saturday.

When people book a cargo taxi
A store purchase
Collect furniture or appliances from IKEA, ACE, a shop or a warehouse and bring them home.
One bulky item
A sofa, fridge, washing machine or wardrobe — when you don't need a move, just something that won't fit in a car.
Building materials
Drywall, tiles, doors, tools — delivery to the site and removal of what's left over.
A second-hand buy
Pick an item up from a seller in another city without renting a truck yourself.
A small move
One room, a studio or a workshop, when everything is packed and no loaders are needed.
Business delivery
One-off or regular drops across several addresses — with an electronic receipt for your books.
A cargo taxi in an app vs a driver from a classified ad
The difference isn't the truck — it's what happens when something goes wrong.

Cargo taxi — frequently asked questions
How much does a cargo taxi cost in Israel?
At MovilUp a truck with a driver costs 350₪ per hour with a 2-hour minimum. The final amount depends on the body class, the distance and any extras — loaders, packing, carrying without a lift. The price is calculated and shown before you confirm the order, with no surcharges on site.
How is a cargo taxi different from a turnkey move?
A cargo taxi is just the truck and the driver, billed by the hour; you handle loading and unloading yourself. A turnkey move includes a crew of loaders, packing, furniture disassembly and assembly and placement at the new address, and is priced by the scope of work rather than by the hour.
Can I book a truck without loaders?
Yes — that is the base service: a truck arrives with its driver, who is not required to carry your things. If you do need help, add loaders to the order; they are charged separately.
Is there an app to order a truck in Israel?
Yes. MovilUp is an app for iPhone and Android: you enter the addresses and the load, see the price before confirming, track the truck on the map, chat with the driver and pay by card or in cash. You can also order through the form on this site or by phone.
How soon will the truck arrive?
Standard dispatch is within 4 hours of the order being confirmed. You can also book a truck for a specific date and time, Saturday included.
Do you work on Saturday?
Yes, orders are carried out seven days a week including Saturday. Availability of a particular partner depends on the region and time of day.
What vehicles are available and how much do they carry?
Five classes: S — up to 300 kg (Berlingo, Caddy, Doblo), M — up to 700 kg (Transit, H100, Boxer), L — up to 2,500 kg (Cabstar, NT 400), XL — up to 5,000 kg (Sprinter, Canter), XXL — up to 7,500 kg (Sumo, Hino 300). The class is matched to the volume and weight of the load.
What cannot be transported?
Weapons, narcotics, cash and valuables, animals without a specially equipped vehicle, people in the cargo body, and anything that does not fit entirely inside the chosen vehicle. Safes, pianos, gym equipment, antiques and aquariums are accepted only with insurance arranged. The full list is in the Public Offer.
Can I ride along with my cargo?
Yes, a customer accompanying the load may travel in the cabin. Riding in the cargo body is not allowed.
Do you issue a receipt?
Yes. An electronic receipt is issued when the order is completed and can be used for accounting or expensed through a business.
Which cities does MovilUp cargo taxi cover?
All of Israel: Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Petah Tikva, Rishon LeZion, Netanya, Ashdod, Beer Sheva and beyond. Intercity transport is one of the service's core offerings.
